Welcome to the AFV Society Newsletter.

This Newsletter was created to provide news, information and ideas on the ever-growing topic of the Alvis Fighting Vehicles. This Newsletter, updated monthly, provides a quick and easy way for you to stay up to date and get the latest information wherever and whenever you need it.

The Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society Show: On the August Bank Holiday 2007, the Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society held its first annual show. This gave us the opportunity to get all the vehicles out, invite the friends and families of the Society Members and get a consensus of us making this a permanent event.

Needless to say it was enjoyed by all who attended, with many people camping over the holiday weekend, participating in driving the vehicles around, the pyro display and road run. See pictures in the photo gallery. Click HERE

12th June - Household Cavalry Pageant. See us at Horse Guards Parade, the AFV Society will be providing all 8 CVR(T) for the Falklands rememberance part of the procession. Click HERE for photos and videos.

16th & 17th February 2007 - Ubisoft's preview of their popular Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. In association with Warfighters the AFV Society provide a memorable venue for both the press and the public who won the chance to play the game before release. 11th October - Photo Gallery, the Members Vehicles and projects page improved for better access and viewing. Click on 'Members Vehicles' within the Photo Gallery or access HERE.

24th September - Chat room added to the Forum. Click on the icon at the top of the Forum page or HERE.

23rd September - AFV Society email address has changed. We have had so many problems with the Hotmail address that we have moved to a new BT address: afvsociety@btopenworld.com

17th September - Vehicle register added to site. Please help us identify where all the Alvis vehicles are. Click on 'Vehicle Register' in the index menu to access or HERE.

24th August 2006 - Forum added to the website. Any one need help, advice, chat on all topics? Also a section for classifides and wanted. Click on 'Forum' in the index menu to access or HERE.
